The Getdown is a collective led by organist Laurent Coulondre and drummer Arnaud Dolmen. It features a completely unique combination of organ, drums, Fender, piano, and keyboards. Joining them are pianists Rolando Luna and Mario Canonge. Rounding out the organ, keyboards, and drums are the talented saxophonist Ferdi and trumpeter Yasek Manzano, as well as the promising flutist Mélodie Spartacus. Driven above all by the joy of playing, this collective is dedicated to groove and celebration, taking us to Guadeloupe, Cuba, and more broadly to the Caribbean, with swing, funk, melodies, and of course, jazz.
