Checks
As part of the Vigipirate (anti-terrorism) Plan “Enhanced security – risk of attack”, systematic checks will be set up by the city of Nice and carried out at the entrances to Nice Jazz Fest events, in particular by means of security gates, systematic mandatory opening of bags and pat-downs.
For security reasons, security personnel may ask users to open their bags and present their contents at the entrance, exit or any other place within the Nice Jazz Fest perimeter.
Prohibited items
It is forbidden to enter the event perimeter with :
- Weapons and ammunition of any category, tear gas canisters or any sharp object,
- Dummy weapons,
- Explosive, flammable or volatile substances (fireworks, firecrackers, sparklers),
- Alcoholic beverages, illicit substances, glass or metal containers, plastic containers with caps,
- Metal bombs, sprays, serpentine wire bombs, etc.,
- Rolling objects (rollers, scooters, scooters, skateboards, bicycles, etc.) excluding pushchairs and wheelchairs,
- Motorcycle helmets,
- Stainless steel water bottle and thermos,
- Suitcases, shopping bags and other bags and luggage larger than the authorized size.
We are ecofriendly. We encourage you to bring along your eco cup to the festival!
