The goal? To offer creative, original, and festive experiences in the heart of Nice and throughout its markets.

Launched on July 18 with an exceptional concert at 7:30 p.m. on Place du Palais de Justice, the Fest’ OFF continues until July 26. Marching bands, duos, trios, artistic companies, and concerts will bring rhythm to the days and evenings of Nice for 8 days.

Frères Jacquard

Opening Concert - Les Frères Jacquard – Ze New Bestoufle

Saturday, July 18 - 7:30 PM

Place du Palais de Justice

Already 12 years! Time really flies when you're having fun. Twelve years of unlikely mash-ups that have shone a spotlight on some of the most notorious lyrics in French chanson (...Aline! Pour qu'elle revienne...).

Rock, funk, disco, slow songs… every style is revisited to create this colorful New Bestoufle. Choreography, costumes, stage presence, vocals, musicianship… and, of course, plenty of absurd humor. They have kept only the very best for this show, which can be adapted to different venues and audiences (theatres, village stages, daycare centers, nursing homes, even funeral ceremonies…).

Jazz Combo Box

Jazz Combo Box

From Monday, July 20 to Wednesday, July 22

Roaming performance

By the Des Résonnables.

A true collective, Jazz Combo Box has developed a modern and eclectic style shaped by a wide range of influences. The only brass band in the world to perform with a DJ (thanks to the scratchophone), these highly skilled musicians blend hip-hop and scratching with jazz, Afrobeat, and groove sounds. The group’s musical identity revolves around the scratchophone as its central instrument.

Trumpet, saxophone, trombone, sousaphone, and percussion merge with machine-generated sounds orchestrated by a DJ. Jazz Combo Box is the only mobile brass band in the world equally at home in the streets and on stage, performing alongside a scratchophonist.

Balancing modernity and tradition, Jazz Combo Box has a unique style that is just as enjoyable for the feet as it is for the ears.

Les Ouiches Lorènes

Les Ouiches Lorènes

From Wednesday, July 22 to Saturday, July 25

Roaming performance

Les Ouiches Lorènes are like little gourmet acoustic tarts that should definitely not be eaten: instead, you slip them into your ears and let them shake up your stomach! Flavored with ska and New Orleans sounds, packed with real chunks of funk and a pinch of punk, they delight adults and get children dancing… or perhaps the other way around.

Chef’s recommendation: shake vigorously while in use. An original rhythm section combining bass drum, snare drum, sousaphone, and banjo is driven by an inexhaustible brass section featuring wild trombones, trumpets, and saxophones.

Swing Gavinu

Swing Gavinu

Sunday, July 19 and Saturday, July 25

At the markets

With this new project, Jef Roques takes us on a journey through the music that shaped his youth. After many years playing bebop-influenced jazz, this accomplished musician moves closer to the music of Corsican guitarists who enchanted him during long summer evenings.

To recreate this atmosphere, he has surrounded himself with leading musicians from the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region (Philippe Brassoud on double bass, Benjamin Boutant on saxophone, and Alexandre Gaubert on guitar) to present a varied program ranging from the repertoire of Django Reinhardt to that of Charles Rocchi, along with a selection of French songs.

All of this with a single motto: let’s swing!
