Ouiches Lorènes are little gastro-acoustic tarts that you really mustn't eat: you just slip them in your ears to make your stomach churn! With a taste of ska and New Orleans, with real bits of funk and a pinch of punk, they'll surprise grown-ups and get the kids up on their feet... or the other way round. Chef's advice: shake vigorously during use. An original rhythm section combining bass drum, snare drum, sub-bassophone and banjo is supported by an inexhaustible brass section: trombones, trumpets and saxophones gone wild.
Welcome to rue Eugène Poubelle - a street that, at first glance, seems quite ordinary!
And yet... listen carefully. Can you hear it? Here, everything is music! Everything is in tune, everything is transformed. The street and its elements take on a second life - sometimes even a third! Nothing is thrown away, everything is reclaimed: that's how instruments are born.
A nod from the NJF to the year 2025, marked by the protection of seas and oceans, and by collective intelligence to rethink our modes of consumption!
Let yourself be carried away by this second-hand orchestra, passionate about fair recovery. Noise becomes sound, sound becomes note, note becomes rhythm.
Open your ears wide and let them lose themselves in this joyful musical jumble... while your eyes are deceived by sounds that are too often ignored.
Are you ready? Then don't hesitate: enter their world!
90 minutes of musical entertainment - 8 rag-pickers - All ages - Free!
Desmadre Orkesta is a festive, eclectic bundle of energy straight from Argentina!
The band will take you on a musical journey through Balkan brass, Colombian colours, cumbias tinged with New Orleans-style swing, and milongas with a Buenos Aires flavour.
Buoyed by the power of its brass section, the band offers popular melodies that are both rooted in tradition and brilliantly reinvented, with touches of virtuosity and chiselled arrangements.
But music is only the starting point: Desmadre Orkesta is also about dance, movement, interaction and a mad desire to share. The result is an explosive, joyous and generous show that leaves audiences with a smile on their face and a festive heart!
Another fine example of artistic vitality, far removed from fixed formats and cultural boundaries, with this group that has no qualms about mixing traditional songs with contemporary urban rhythms.
It's a veritable alchemy of sound, born of a daring blend: a bit of sand from the beaches of Rio, a sliver of tarmac from the 93, a handful of red earth from Lagos, a few pebbles from the Caribbean, an ounce of mud from the marshes of Louisiana, and a pearl of coral from Reunion Island…
Lazcar Volcano is unpretentious sophistication, raw delicacy, the wild and the refined, the raw and the cooked... It's everything we love about life, with its reliefs and contrasts. An eruption of dance, freedom and life!
The Nice-Orleans Jazz Orchestra (NOJO) was founded in January 2020 by Imago records & production, under the artistic direction of James Andrews, a leading figure in New Orleans jazz. Made up of professional musicians as well as semi-professionals and amateurs, the band, thanks to James Andrews, perpetuates the New Orleans tradition but adds a certain French Touch thanks to the presence of a choir, which sings along with the musicians' groove.
Somewhere between the musical bubbling of New Orleans, the psychedelic dimensions of rock and the urban crackle of hip-hop, Radio Kaizman, led by its singer and rapper, will take you into an unprecedented trance.
Ultra-hot riffs, hypnotic drums, throbbing, energetic brass underpinning a razor-sharp flow, the band's recipe is to bring brass band and hip-hop together in a unique, shared story.
A participatory musical installation open to all!
The Beatboxmaton is like a photo booth... but for the sounds! Step into the booth, follow the instructions and have fun recording your best human beatbox sounds.
All the sounds collected are then mixed to form a 100% vocal, original and collaborative musical creation.
Outside, two screens allow the public to follow the creation of the piece live, and to cheer on the most inspired participants.
And to extend the experience, the tracks can be downloaded via a dedicated application.
Rodafonio is an invention that has completely transformed the street theatre and music scene in Barcelona, Spain.
Created by designer and musician César Alvarez Bayer, the attraction consists of a giant wheel 4 metres high and 15 centimetres thick.
The wheel is home to the five musicians of the Catalan group Factoria Circular. Three musicians sit on the wheel in their respective metal circles, playing their musical instruments: guitar, saxophone and a set of drums, sometimes spinning inside the giant wheel.
The other two members are actors who pedal the moving wheel, bringing the enormous mechanical structure to life.
The musical show lets you combine the principles of geometry and music.
Never before have mathematical formulae and scores been combined with the intention of creating a similar spectacle.
Always with the street as a privileged space, with no ties and no electricity, Orchestre Imperial Kikiristan condenses the best of its know-how, born of 10 years of musical peregrinations. Interaction, choreography, humour, music, song and dance, from tightly-crafted tableaux to total improvisation, frenetic solos, serenades or the search for new members, our folk group on the move is at the service of all kinds of events in an acoustic formula with multiple accents.
From Beirut to Bogota, Romania to northern Russia, the band has played at festivals of all shapes and sizes.
There have already been over 1,000 performances in more than 30 countries,
are not imaginary.
La Fafara Fissa Papa
Their musical credo: traditional cumbias, jazzy hits in ska, calypso and caliente rock versions, covers of well-known or outdated songs in festive versions: ‘On nous cache tout’ (J. Dutronc) Rage Against The Machine style, ‘Rum and Coca-cola’ (Andrews Sisters), ‘Ya mustapha’ or classic tunes revisited in Latin versions: ‘Gnossienne n°1’, ‘Lettre à élise’ and many more in preparation in their secret studio!
In 2016, the Po’Boys set off for New Orleans, the birthplace of Afro-American music, where they met and worked with some of the biggest names in the local brass band scene: Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Hot 8 Brass Band, Stooges Brass Band, and the legendary Preservation Hall Jazz Band.
A living symbol of Louisiana, brass bands — ensembles combining percussion and brass instruments — set the rhythm of local life. Funerals, carnivals, sporting events, community celebrations, or political gatherings: they are present at every moment of social life.
Beyond the music, they embody values of solidarity and collective pride. You’ll find them in the streets, restaurants, jazz clubs, parks... the celebration is everywhere.
It's in this musical whirlwind that the Po'Boys immerse themselves in a rich cultural mix of French heritage, Afro-American traditions and Caribbean influences.
In 2004, Le Gros Tube was formed by musicians passionate about the brass bands of New Orleans (Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Rebirth Brass Band, Hot 8...) and inspired by those who paved the way in France, such as Ceux Qui Marchent Debout and Uranus Bruyant.
Le Gros Tube never misses a chance to ignite the stages, cafés, streets, and festivals they visit, getting even the shyest to move! Led by a singer-flutist, this high-energy brass band takes the audience on a journey through original compositions blending fun, jazz, funk, rock, hip hop, reggae, and afrobeat with an acoustic twist.
