La Merenda Village

The Nice Jazz Fest village will open its doors once again this year, offering festival-goers moments of relaxation and shared happiness.

Named "La Merenda," it will open its doors at 5:30 PM, with JoeyStarr at the helm, joined by renowned chefs to offer the audience a unique experience.

Boules courts, bars, food court, and merchants will all come together to set the mood. A small stage will also feature music from the moment the doors open and during all stage changes at the Théâtre de Verdure. Once the concerts are over, the afterparties will take over—starting at midnight, the village will transform into an acoustic jam session under the stars, keeping the vibes alive until the end of the night.

Before the concerts begin, come and :

  • Taste the delicacies prepared by local restaurateurs
  • Challenge your friends to a game of pétanque
  • Discover local merchants and artisans
  • Chill out, relax, breathe... and soak up the atmosphere and theme of the village: Caribbean / New Orleans

JoeyStarr & The Live Soldierz are on hand in the kitchen and at the turntables!

  • The Food System: coordinated by JoeyStarr and staffed by committed chefs who will be offering a menu that's full of flavour, popular and generous. Among them: Camille Le Breton De La Perrière, Eric Ospital, Gautier Creissard, Jean-Rony Leriche, Isabel Cardoso-Fonquerte and Guillaume Tran-Tu.
  • The Sound System: JoeyStarr, Tuco Gadamn and DJ Naughty will provide the musical ambience from the opening of the village.

Jam Sessions

The music doesn't stop at the end of the concert!

From the end of the last concert in the Théâtre de Verdure, the village is transformed: the small stage becomes the stage for acoustic jam sessions, genuine encounters between festival musicians, surprise guests and young talent.
