Biography
Christian McBride is a nine-time Grammy Award-winning bassist, composer, and bandleader who continues to push musical boundaries across jazz, R&B, pop/rock, hip-hop/neo-soul, and classical music.
As the artistic director of the historic Newport Jazz Festival, a radio host (NPR, SiriusXM), and a dedicated advocate for music education, McBride’s influence extends far beyond the stage. For this performance, he will be joined by the exceptional pianist Benny Green and the dynamic drummer Greg Hutchinson.
