Biography
With an illustrious career that includes stints with Miles Davis, Art Blakey and The Jazz Messengers, Donald Byrd, Freddie Hubbard, Woody Shaw and the Duke Ellington Orchestra, as well as a solo career that began over 30 years ago, Garrett is recognized as one of the brightest and most influential living masters of modern jazz. Kenny Garrett's latest album, Sounds from the Ancestors, is an album of many facets.
