After remarkable live performances with Guillaume Perret (A Certain Trip, 12 Levers de Soleil) or within the ONEFOOT trio pioneer of French "next gen" jazz, Yessaï Karapetian, Franco-Armenian pianist and composer, now flies on his own wings, determined to make some sparks. On bass, we find Marc Karapetian, the leader’s brother, Théo Moutou officiates on drums, while we revel in the notes of guitarist Gabriel Gosse (a genius we find with Christian Scott, Eddy de Pretto or even Katerine). Saxophonist Mounir Sefsouf completes the cosmopolitan, iconoclastic line-up created by Karapetian. Five young French musicians with a conquering spirit, from Armenia, Guadeloupe, Réunion and Algeria, for whom music and people are one.
