Biography
From childhood, Fatoumata Diawara (she’s called Fatou) has marvellously performed the extravagant didadi dance of Wassoulou, the land of her ancestors in western Mali, in her father's troupe. In recent years, Fatoumata Diawara has continued to evolve by sharing the stage with many artists such as Mayra Andrade, Omara Portuondo and Oumou Sangaré. Today, the singer reconciles her solo concerts with various projects such as the Mali Blues tour, the musical project of Matthieu Chedid "M", with Toumani and Sidiki Diabate, and her project "Olympic Café Tour" with Moroccan singer Hindi Zahra.
