Biography
The sobriety of a stage layout is sometimes its major strength, and when the trio works well it has no need of artifice. The Fred Hersch trio has produced six albums in less than ten years, and is now considered one of the best jazz formations, blending modernity and spontaneity in its compositions. Their latest album, Live in Europe, is a triumph.
