Biography
The Sons of Kemet give the jazz world an unexpected shake-up – a mini brass band with two drummers blending free jazz explorations, Afro touches and the spirit of punk! The originator of this shockwave is the saxophonist Shabaka Hutchings, who gives the new sound a hard-hitting Caribbean touch. They are one of the jazz sensations of the year – an essential ingredient of the programme!
