Biography
Co-founder of the Paris Jazz Big Band and director of the Nice Jazz Orchestra, the saxophonist and composer Pierre Bertrand has worked with Claude Nougaro, Charles Aznavour and André Ceccarelli! "Caja Negra" is the name of both his first album and his group, a musical stroll between jazz and flamenco taking in the Mediterranean, Africa and Latin America! He has just received the "Victoire du Jazz" award in the "Unclassifiable Album of the Year" category for "Joy", his second album.
