Jef Roques is the winner of the 2017 Nice Jazz Festival Springboard competition organised by the City of Nice in association with La Ruche. The guitarist and his quartet won over the jury in the Côte d'Azur's capital with the simple charm of his perfectly controlled jazz with inspired bebop and hard bop accents. His repertoire, made up of both standards and original compositions flavoured with the sounds of Delta blues, is sure to win the hearts of audiences too!
