Biography
A pupil of Max Roach and partner of Lionel Loueke, Sting, Dianne Reeves and Angelique Kidjo, drummer Daniel Freedman treats each of his musical experiences as a new journey. At the head of his quintet, he continues his voyage through rhythm with a multi-coloured album, his first as band leader. On the programme is a world tour from New York to Cotonou, via Rio and Tel Aviv. One of last year’s discoveries returns with a project that is sure to entertain! We gladly climb aboard to join him.
